Reels Scout is the DropshipperOS Chrome extension for discovering Reels and sending visible information to your account. Controller: Javier Martínez. Contact: info@dropshipperos.com.
Data collected
When you start an Instagram discovery session, the extension reads visible Reel and profile information: usernames, links, bios, account metrics, views and interactions, dates when available, and media links or references. It also processes your DropshipperOS email, user identifier, session token, settings and local records of accounts visited during this feature.
When and why
Collection starts through the extension’s controls and you can stop the session. Data is used to save discoveries to your account, avoid duplicates and support filtering and analysis in DropshipperOS. The extension does not collect general browsing history or read Instagram passwords, cookies or private messages.
Sign-in and local storage
The email and password you enter are sent to the DropshipperOS server for authentication. The extension does not store your password; it stores the token, email, identifier, settings and counters locally. Signing out removes local credentials; uninstalling removes extension storage but does not delete captures already sent to the server.
Permissions
activeTab and scripting run the feature on the Instagram tab you activate. storage keeps your session and settings. Server access is requested to authenticate and send captures. The extension uses tabs needed for discovery and lets you stop it through its controls.
Sharing and limited use
Captures are sent to the configured DropshipperOS server and linked to your user. Authorised service administrators can access the data. Storage and queue infrastructure process captures. Data is not sold, shared with advertising networks or used for advertising profiles. Extension data use is limited to the described discovery feature and complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy’s Limited Use restrictions.
Legal basis and retention
Account data is processed to provide the requested service; security relies on legitimate interests. Discovery is started voluntarily. Server data is retained as needed for the service or until applicable deletion. Request access or deletion of captures and your account at info@dropshipperos.com. Backup and log periods must be confirmed for the actual hosting configuration.
Security, rights and controller
Use the service over HTTPS. You may exercise access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable, and complain to the AEPD or your local authority.
